Walnut Creek Veterinary Clinic opened our doors in 2008 as a partnership between Dr. BJ Ravnsborg and Dr. Joanne Gaines, the owner of Ridgeview Animal Hospital. The location of the hospital was chosen to provide convenient, high-quality veterinary care and services for pet owners in the growing Papillion / LaVista/ Ralston/ Bellevue communities.
Dr. Ravnsborg had a connection to the area through his years at Ralston Veterinary Clinic, so along with Dr. Gaines’s husband Adam and one additional staff member, Walnut Creek Veterinary Clinic took off. Over the next five years, we added two additional veterinarians and support staff who share our dedication to providing compassionate, exceptional care to all the pets and families that come through our door. Dr. Ravnsborg and Dr. Gaines also partnered to open Skyline Veterinary Clinic in Elkhorn in 2016.
Our veterinary hospital offers a compassionate, knowledgeable staff and medical team as well as state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. Our goal is to offer comprehensive veterinary services for the life of your animal companion including advanced diagnostics, in-house testing, surgical procedures, dental procedures, pharmacy, and more.
We’re also committed to preventative care and client education so we can try to prevent medical problems before they start. Your pet’s health, comfort, and well-being are always our top priority.
Our passion to help pets goes beyond our walls, too—we are dedicated to assisting local rescue groups by promoting adoption and providing veterinary care for homeless animals through these organizations.
