Lauren is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who hails from a tiny town in southwest Iowa. She began her veterinary technology education at NCTA in Curtis, Nebraska, and later earned her Associate of Applied Science degree through DCCC, becoming fully licensed in 2021.
Growing up surrounded by donkeys, llamas, cows, and of course the usual cats and dogs, Lauren frequently witnessed the inner workings of her small-town rural veterinary clinic. The lead veterinarian often invited her to observe procedures from a very young age, sparking her early passion for the medicine and healing that define this field.
In her free time, Lauren attends as many concerts as her budget allows. She also enjoys kayaking, hiking, and playing volleyball whenever the opportunity arises. At home, she currently cares for two spoiled fur-balls: Whiskey Tango, an 11-year-old Catahoula/Heeler mix, and Remington, a 9-year-old domestic shorthair tortoiseshell.
Lauren is actively pursuing further education in animal massage and acupressure therapy, continuing to expand her skills and commitment to animal care.
